School Residencies
Since 2008, Composing Together has created and performed over 250 new works with over 5000 young people around the country, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area. A brainchild of composer and educator, Katrina Wreede, CT brings professional composers and kids together to learn and create with each other.
Musical StoryTime Shows
In 2017, Composing Together added a family-friendly Musical StoryTime show that features live musician/composers performing their music to accompany familiar children’s picture books and poetry read by our Resident Poet and retired Children’s Librarian, Alan Bern.
Assembly Concerts
Composing Together offers assembly concerts for up to 200 students/audience members to share that anyone can think and create like a composer and that musical self-expression is available to everyone.
